Pieces...

Nowadays, we buy people and take care of things.
We could think: it's odd, everything is going on wrong way. But no.
Since we were kids, society has taught us that to Have is much more importante than to Be.
We can buy a new product when our old one no longer satifies us. Then we can assume that everything is replaceable for us. And we think that we can apply this to people's relationships.
I don't love you anymore, farewell. She is moving away. He left you. She betrayed you.
So, we find another fool to repleace that stupid one.
When you least expect there is a new one, there, where used to be your place.
Yeah, we are replaceable.
Feelings seem to have valid dates.
They say that we always remember our first love, once I heard a man say:
- My starter wife wanted so much a Porsche and I bought her a Ferrari. She got really upset. I've found a new wife.
A girl said:
- Why toys, if we have boys?
We are just pieces of replacement.

Muito legal o texto. Mas o que me chamou mais a atenção é seu inglês: está muito bom! Beijo!

Wonderful thinking, Cathy, but I'll kindly disagree with you.

Not all of us are just pieces of replacement. Not all of us are replaceable. We have to make ourselves irreplaceble in other people's lives. You, my friend, are irreplaceble.

Love you!
